Hi, I have a page of 3 frames (title, toolbar and content). In my toolbar frame (bottom left) I have a link the loads an external page into the content frame (bottom right). When I click on a different link in my toolbar frame that loads a local page (happy.html) in the content frame nothing happens. I believe that this because the content frames url now points out to a different site. I know I could just enter the hole url of the happy page into links url path, but Im am planning on changeing urls soon and dont wht to change all the links again. Is there a way useing javascript to use the window.location concatinated with the page name in the link?

Sorry it was suck a drawn out question. Thanks for you help, Drew

If i understand your post, i don't think there will be a difference. I mean regardless of what mechanism you use to point to a resource, the browser has to be able to find it.

I just can't seem to get back my IntelliSense

palbano is correct, in that as long as the two files (frame1 and frame2) are stored under the same folder, they should recognize each other without the entire URL.
