Hello,

I created a server for our network and added it to the domain, which was okay as a dynamic ip machine but when I changed it to a static ip it won't allow me to remote back into it. I've tried to ping it but it won't respond. Is there something else I need to do so that I can get this back up on the network or do I have to keep it as a dynamic ip? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you set the correct IP Mask and Gateway when you changed to a static IP?

Thanks, nsantin. I realized it was the IP mask that was wrong. I was using 255.x.x.x instead of 255.255.x.x.

Thanks for your help.
