I've swapped out a 1408 to a 1416 in our office and changed the user rights in Manager to the 1416 add on rights, but it does not recognize the add on. Is there anything else I need to do for the system to recognize the 1416 and 1408 were swapped? They're both currently functioning as 1408's currently.

Thanks in advance,
Blake

That is your own terminology for your own setup, this isn't default configuration or description of settings. Are you talking about button programming?

I wonder if you started programming the buttons from the 25th button.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes it is what we programmed, and I did reprogram the rest of the buttons, but for some reason it does not recognize the add on. Even when I unplug and re-plug the add on, the buttons don't light up, as if it's not getting power or something. But it still works on the other line... Just strange. Any ideas?

What do you mean by "Add on" a DBM32 (32 button module)? If so they need to be in-line powered, they don't just work off the handset :)

Ah, thanks amriddle01. That makes (very obvious) sense, now. Looking back at the other cord now I don't know how I didn't see that it was an in-line powered phone line. Thanks for your, and everyone's, help!
