Change Windows 2000 logon box into an XP like logon screen?

In windows 2000 i'd like to have a more "user friendly " logon screen in a windows XP style (with icons and logon user names displayed)to replace the windows 2000 logon box. I've tried to find a program that could do that but i've failed.

If anyone has an idea please answer me (apart from buying Windows Xp copy).

Well I know some information but as for finding the file that contains the logon box have fun. Ive been trying to find that myself. Ive successfully modified windows startup screen and that file is ntoskrnl.exe but requires more than just modifying that file. I will give you a link for that in case your interested. As for editing files and images use a program called resource hacker. Its what I use however ive yet to find the file that has the logon images.
