change password message

How can I change the password complexity message in windows 2000. Its a little to complicated for my users.

I have heard of holding user hands, but what is too complex about the need to change password message?????

If you set it up right, users will be notified they need to change their password well in advance, and you need to require they log on to change the password for many security reasons.

If your problem is because you have Win9x users, then that is a different problem.

Exactly what is your problem?

The password supplied does not meet the minmum complexity requirements. Please select another password that meets all of the following criteria: is at least 8 characters; has not been used in the previous 10 password; does not contain your account or full name; contains at least three of the following four character groups: English uppercase (A through Z); English lowercase characters (a through z); Numerals (0 through 9); Non-alphabetic characters (such as !,$,#,%), Type a password which meets these requirements in both text boxes.

This message I would like to simplify, it confuses my users. Thanks
