Change Mousepointer

I am trying to mimic a "What's this" functionality in an Excel spreadsheet and I want the cursor to change to a question mark when a user clicks on the button to start this macro.

I know that there is a property for this but I can't get it to work for shapes(embedded charts).

As an alternative is there a way using a macro to permanently change the cursor to a custom icon?

I tried application.cursor but it would only let me set I-beam, white cross, northwest arrow or the hourgalss. I don't see the ability to use a question mark. Am I missing it?
