Hi all, using CR 10...

I have several sub-reports within the report footers of a report.

Is it possible to change a label's text in the PAGE HEADER based on which Report Footer is being displayed on the current page?

I have 3 different report footers (with sub-reports in them) that have I want to have different column headers displayed on each page.

Make some sense?

You can pass back a value from a subreport using Shared Variables, use SEARCH to get details. The problem is that a value returned from a subreport can only be used by sections below the section that calls the subreport.

You could suppress the normal page header by beginning the subreports on a new page and using a formula that compairs a running total count of detail records to a summary total count: when they are the same, all detail records have been read.

Please see my last suggestion in thread767-1350720. You will need multiple variables set to true and false. Set them all to false in the report header, and then place true in the section that contains the subreport that you want the page header for. Place false again in the section below the one containing the relevant subreport. Then use the true/false condition to suppress page headers or not.

Thank you lbass, that is exactly the solution I was looking for.
