I need to migrate a sun solaris box to a new network subnet.

I will need to change the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. - Also I will need to amend the hostfile. Does anyone know where I can get information on how this can be done?

Unfortunatley I have next to no experience of Sun Solaris.

Thanks.

Donachie,
IP Address: /etc/hosts
Gateway: /etc/defaultrouter
Netmask: /etc/netmasks

The hosts and netmasks files in /etc are usually soft linked to /etc/inet. These files may be read only.
