Change Folder Backgound

I Know in windows 98,2k you can change the background to specific folders. Do you know if you can in XP Pro? If so, How?
 
What do you mean by Background? The colour of the window background or something else like an image for background.

If it is the first option have a look at Display Properties/ Appearance/ Advanced, this setting would be applied to all folders.

If it is the other it's not that easy in XP but there are fixes around to do it.

Download folder addon from here (shareware).

What is available in XP as supplied.
 
Or Google for "icons" and you will find millions, including thousands of different folder colors and shapes. You can use the properties settings, Customize of any folder to change its icon or properties, including putting a picture on them!
