Change field question in Crystal XI

I am using crystal ver 8.5.
I have a lot of reports that work from order files and I want almost identical reports to work from historical order files.

The question is. Has Crystal XI got the ability to change a field on the report?
Currently I am having to add the historical equivalent field, format it, make it the same size, align it with the heading and then remove the old order field. For almost every field on the report and there are a lot of reports that need this doing.

Any ideas, I thought of exporting the definition and changing the field name that way but there is no import.

I would be happy to upgrade to version XI for this feature alone.

you could map your existing field on the report to the new ones

If the field names are the same, try going to database->set location and map the tables to each other.
