I want to change the compact flash on my router. I loaded it on my computer and copied the files on my computer except for the 128MB.sdf file.
it couldn't be copied.

is that normal or do I have a corrupted file?

If so what can I do to replace or recreate it?

It has to be in the same format that the router can read . you may have to do a "format" command on the router then copy your files . It has to be the correct type of compact flash also for it to work., What model cisco router ?

I have a cisco 1800 router and when I read the formating on the on the flash it reads that its a fat format. I'm just wondering about that one file that I can't copy. Is that file corrupted or can't be copied?
