I can not figure this out for the life of me.

Lets say that I have an exchange domain @mydomainname.com. When they send our emails they want people to see the address as @MyDomainName.com (Notice the capitalizations.)

I tried the following: Exchange System Manager > Recipients > Recipient Policies > Default Policy Properties > Email Addresses (Policy) > Change SMTP address to the format that I would like.

Is what I am trying to do possible? Or am I just trying something that is not practical. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... where do I do that?

What is required on the client-end? Do I have to recreate each outlook profile?

In Exchange System Manager on the Exchange server. In there, drill down through the organisation, site and server and you'll find connectors inside protocols. In there is the Default SMTP Virtual Server. In the properties of that, go to the tab marked Delivery then in click the button Advanced. In there put MyDomainName.com as the Fully Qualified domain name.

OK, so I didn't specify the exact place to go but you could have looked.

No need to change anything else. Ideally you should change it in the Organisation/Recipients/Recipient Policies, Properties, Email Addresses (Policy) tab though as the above way is kind of cheating.
