We use Crystal 10 as a tool to extract data from our accounting and job costing systems to prepare five files (three CSV and two columns with spaces). Is there a way to chain these reports by embedding the File Export rules so the extract process can be automated?

Please define "chaining" in this context. I have no idea what that means.

Yes, any of the 3rd-party Report Managers listed at: should be able to automate this process.

By the way, if you describe what you are doing with these files, it may be possible to suggest an even better option to achieve the end result.

We use Crystal (in this particular case) to extract master file data from these other systems because it is able to extract data while they are running with other users doing their regular daily work. (ODBC drivers)

The information is pulled into a custom database system where additional reports are used for analysis.
