Can anyone help me with the command CH ISDN PUB
There are 4 fields Ext Len, Ext Code, CPN prefix, Total Lenght CPN.
I'm needing to change the outgoing number on our trunks for most extensions. Really would prefer that no number goes out at all except for those lines for which the caller id needs to be seen(data lines) I can't find any info on this command. Can anyone explain what each of these fields does.

Thanks,

Some people like to send out the same number for all calls from NON-DID extensions and the DID number for DID extensions. Example:

You have DID numbers in the 5xxx range and Non-DID in the 1xxx range. You would like the main number (555)555-5000 to be sent any time a Non-DID number dials out.

You could set up the ISDN Public Unknown Numbering as follows:

Ext Ext Trk CPN Total CPN
Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len

4 5 1-3 555555 10
4 1 1-3 5555555000 10

This can be handy when you have outbound FAX machines but you want all inbound to go to a FAX server. You simply "exchange" the FAX server number outbound.

Be aware that if you are using the outbound ISDN-PRI for 911 emergency services, you will be controlling the number that they see. Make sure that all the outbound numbers you are sending are properly registered.
