If a CFIF criteria is not met, does ColdFusion process that information? Or does it simply pass over that statement?<br><br>It seems that is unclear in any Allaire documentation that I have been looking at.

It will simply pass over everything until it gets to a <CFELSE>, <CFELSEIF> or </CFIF>, however the parser will catch errors like missing required endtags (a <CFOUTPUT without a </CFOUTPUT>, for example) or non-matching pound signs within the statement....
