CFgrid Vars

can anyone tell me how I would use WHERE in a query to show only orders from the option selected in a cfgrid on a previous tab.

Layout is basically 3 tabs - Customers, Details, Orders

You select a customer and then tab accross to view their details etc. I can bind the details from the selected customers with the .selectedIndex but I'm not sure whether selecting a row in a cfgrid creates a variable ?

You ask a lot of questions. That's fine, you're learning. A forum isn't the best place to LEARN though. look into getting a Coldfusion book or even look into the livedocs by macromedia. It looks like you're using CF 7(?)

Fair comment! Ended up switching to Coldfusion a little late into a project thats all...Will put in the effort and give you guys a break . (yup cf7)
