Thanks, but later that night, I was talking to my sisters husband, and he pursuaded me to learn asp first, then cfml (if i needed it). He said that asp was more widly supported, and easier to use. is this true? Heya!

Well... I can agree that ASP is more widely used. But it's no more widely supported and not easier to use. The easier to learn and use is CF and no one can argue on this.

The main advantage of ASP is that you dont need to buy a server since IIS already support it.

In my opinion, you should learn one (decide which one but I think CF is easier to learn) and when you will know one well it will be really easy to learn the other.
