Cerciving a minor error 3842

does anybody have a list of error codes? i'm reciving a minor error for CARD-MEM err type 3842.

This is an error as opposed to an alarm? Is the alt-name, error or aux 3842?

In general the test memory 1a (or whatever) and save translations will usually clearm card-mem alarms. If it doesn't it looks like your flash card has died.

In general, you can find all the alarms in the maintainence objects chapter of the manual. However, if you give me an e-mail address I can send you a small program that can help in decoding MO alarms.

sorry, yes it is a minor alarm. err type is 3842 aux data is 9035? that tool sounds like it could be a big help for me i'd aperciate it if you would send it to me. you can e-mail it to vbottom@hotmail.com thanks alot i'll give the save translations a try

Hi,

try the test memory 1a longh clear and if either the save trans or test mem. fail then your probalbly looking at a faulty flashcard.
