CPilot 5.0 linking two sites over IP trunks. One site Op11 5.5 second site 81C at 5.0. No problems prior to the IP install. Intermittently when a caller zeros out in either system regardless of the programmed revert DN the caller is routed to the main sites operator, which would be the default for any boxes with no revert DN programmed.

The CPilot has been in the original site for two years with no issues. Latest patches etc.

I have no clue. Anyone ever hear of this?

Have you been able to identify any common elements in either calls that fail, or calls that are completed?

There are a lot of things that could be factors:

NCOS / TARG / TGAR of the source caller (trunk or set)
NCOS / TGAR of IP trunks
TARG of IP route
NCOS / TGAR of CallPilot agent
CLS restrictions on CallPilot agent
RPL on CallPilot assigned to mailbox

any detailed information you can provide will help you get an informed answer.

Could it be that callers are pressing 0 twice (just to be sure) which would result in a thru-dial to the attendant DN?

Used to be in Meridian Mail when a caller pressed zero twice in a mailbox then they went to the system revert instead of the mailbox revert. In CallPilot I think they just go to the attendant or nite DN.

allenmac, in answer to the first question. The stations and the results are all intermittent with nothing that can be found to repeat. I will use your list as a check off and go over everything just to make sure. Thanks for the list.

StanleySteamer,
Never thought of the double zero, I will try to test it. I will be back in work on Friday. I am in meetings all week and may not have time to test.
Good catch! Hope you are right.

You say zero out of either system but there is only one call pilot, right? Are the failures on the remote pbx? How is you permission, restriction list set up? Are you allowing people to zero out back to the remote site? Is this a CDP installation?

One CallPilot. The zero failures are happening out of each PBX. This has not happened previous to adding the remote site.
Each site is only supposed to zero out to the local zero. The sites are set up using loc codes, if it has an impact.
