Hi,

We have Novell & Windows 2000 servers on our network with the desktops running a mixture of Windows 95 and Windows XP. Each desktop has MS Office 97 installed. I would like to run a centralised dictionary for the network on a Novell or 2000 server. Is this possible and if so what would be the best way to proceed.

I haven't done this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work:

Place your dictionary on a shared drive. In Word (on each computer), go to Tools, Options and click on the Spelling&Grammar tab. Click on the Dictionaries button then on the New button. Point to the dictionary on the shared drive and click on OK.

Let us know if this works.
