CDRW problem

Ok, here's the deal:

I have a pc with xp home and laptop with xp home and Nero 5.5 (latest retail version) and in cd and formatted a cdrw disc using in cd. When i backup from the laptop everything is ok, I switch to the desktop and restore the data successfully. Then I go back to the laptop and all of a sudden it says disc is full or inaccessible. Now, it happens on both machines. I'm using Imation cdrw 1x-4x. Could burn speeds have something to do with this? We have the exact same version of Nero on both. Any ideas?

I'm actually helping out with this for a business, otherwise I would never back up, then restore, then backup and restore again from multiple machines.

Was the Nero software supplied with the writers?
We have had mulitiple problems getting Nero to work with certain CDRW's here in our shop.

Check the website and make sure they are compatible...if so, post again and will try something else.. Kimber
