For a friend of mine I setup Nero and InCD to allow him to use cdrw discs to backup Quicken. It is a newer HP laptop with XP on it and the newest retail version of Nero. Here's the issue: One the cdrw disc is formatted using InCD the user can backup the data as he should. But once the copy/backup is done, we see the cd listed as 0 bytes used, 0 bytes free in windows explorer. When we try to backup again, we get the message that there is not sufficient space. We format (quick and full) the cdrw and try again, same thing. Granted, I'm not a newbie, but more or less a newbie with Nero. He had a horrible experience using Easy Cd Creator, else he'd be using that. I uninstalled that program. Any ideas?

Why don't you use the create wizzard in Nero and use it as a create a data cd and drag and drop the data to the cd
and rename the name in the root

and burn baby burn

I have run into this before.
Nero is not supported by several manufacturers of writers for different models.

MAKE SURE it is compatible with the writer he is using...I had no choice but to use EasyCD for the one I worked on.

Good luck!
Kimber There is no such thing as a dumb question. Only a dumb mistake because you didn't ask...
