Hello all,
I am trying to connect my definity prologic to a third party call analyzer programm, I am wanting to send my CDR across my clan card ,
So in change node-name ip i have the ip address of the pc with the application running entered and named it as ANALYZER.
In my change system-parameters cdr i have the primary out put destination set to "customized".
In change ip-services my service type is CDR1, my local node is set to the CLan port information, in remote node i have ANALYZER(as in node-name ip), then my remote port is 9100 the one my software is listening on for the CDR data , in status CDR it shows as primary link as up.
However if i hyper terminal to the clan IP on port 9100 I do see information but not in text , it looks a little like hex but is not hex,
so
A: should i be able to see the CDR data in text format conecting to it in that way via hyperteminal ?.
B. Am i missing something that is encrpting the CDR data?.. ON Page 2 of change system-parameters cdr , im sending the information required by the software.
C. Is there any other way of checking that im sending CDR correctly like my hyper terminal idea?.... as the data being sent is real nonsense and appears to generate after a call is made but also seems to self genarate data randomly, the data is consistantly identical no matter what type of call is made either outgoing dialling different locations, or incomming from cell / landline.
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated as my customer is starting to get a little rowdy ....oh the third party software has been utilised on Definity prologic before but not by my company , there is even a template for it in the set up of the third party software ..........so please help im a little stuck.
Oh i have done a netstat -a before turning on CDR and nothing is listening on that port , then repeat the netsata -a when CDR is up and it shows my port 9100 in the table.
Many thanks in advance.
