Hi,
My CDR is down. What does test 215 mean. Busyout and released the link. Both commands pass but the test fail again.
Please help
Definity G3si v.12
Thank you

Hello,

Test 215 is the PRI-CDR/SEC-CDR link test.

In short, this test sends a message to the CDR software process to make a data call to the extension where the CDR output device connects to. If the CDR link is already up, then this test will be passed without making any data call. Check the data extension assigned to CDR and or the CDR software. Good luck!

Thank you, but the CDR link is down.
I have no idea what happened. I logged off the system at 1:08 PM; the last recorded call on Call Accounting System is 1:34 PM. Next day link was down.
List history does not show anything between my logoff and maintenance at 1 AM.
I am lost.
Thanks

The CDR is routed via C-LAN card.
I am login in via the LAN also.

Are you comfortable that the CDR software is happy? Since your CDR is via the C-LAN there is not much else. You have the Host and an end point.

If by CDR software you mean Call Accounting System, than yes. It is fine and waiting for incoming connection. The problem is that the CDR-link in the switch is down.

Got it working by switching to CDR2 and the different port in ip-services.
But still do not know what happened! Any ideas what could have happened?
Thanks

Check the firmware on the CLAN pack. It may need to have a newer version of firmware to keep from hosing up on you. I had the same problems with the link to my Intuity. A firmware upgrade fixed it.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

Glad to hear you got it working..I was stumped. Sure doesn't make sense how it just stopped working.

That happens to me a bit as well.... The CDR software is stuck at "Listening", and no errors in the PBX...
I do a ch sys cdr, and take out the endpoint and format, (basically stopping cdr) save,,, then immediately go back in, and reset it back,, and away it goes... does this about once every couple of weeks,,,, don't know why..

That is a good idea to try to go back to CDR1 and the same port I was using before.
Did you check your log for warnings? My CAS software was listenning but the switch gave me a warning (not error) that the CDR link was down. That's why I totaly excluded the CAS as the problem.

Hi all,
I am back to my problem again. My CDR link is down again. I have done everything I did before, but this time no affect.
How can I restart the CDR ?
Thank you

Also...when I do "st cdr pr" it logs me out of switch now. I do not remember it doing before.
