quick question... I have two routers plugged into two ports on a single switch.. when I type sh cdp neighbor on the switch, I only see information on one of the two routers. I know that I enabled cdp on both of the routers and the switch. Also when I check the running config on the switch, the designated ports are set up the same way. Is there somethign else I check or do I have to enable cdp for this single port (FastEthernet0/3). And if so, I thought cdp was a global setting, once in config mode, isn't the 'run cdp' command sifficent for a global cdp command.

Check on the router's interface the cdp isn't disabled. It is globally and per interface.

CDP should be on by default. Enter console on the router that is not seen by the switch and try to run the CDP command there. You may have a problem with your cabling or you have not turned on the interface on that specific router. Please post your solutions because I am very interested in seeing what happened.
