Not sure if this is the right forum to post this but....

I seem to me having an issue with using CDONTS on my Windows 2000 Server to send an email via ASP. I created a test form to pass through the values for the From, To, Subject and Body variables to sendmail.asp which does the "processing", but although I don't get an error message I'm not receiving the email. I know it's not the code because I've used the same on my own Personal Web Server running Windows XP Pro.
However, I've been reading about how you need to set-up SMTP correctly on a Windows 2000 Server to use CDONTS, but none of the articles I've come across seem to explain clearly what needs to be done. Does anyone have any ideas?

Installing the SMTP Service
To install the SMTP service

From the Start menu, point to Settings \ Control Panel. Double-click Add/Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows Components, and then click the Components button.
In the Windows Components Wizard, select Internet Information Services (IIS), and then click Details. Select the SMTP Service component and click OK.
Note Several other IIS components are required to support the SMTP service. They are the Internet Information Services Snap-In, World Wide Web Server, and Common Files components. These components are automatically selected and installed along with the SMTP Service component.
