CDO vs. ASPMail?

Can CDO authenticate or will you need to use another mail transport like ASPMail?
I am trying to use ASP to send an email programmatically.

By authentication do you mean validation? You will have to write your own validation with both ASPMail and CDO.

Maybe you mean something else?

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
