CD Drive doesnt work

When I pop a CD in my host machine, the guest OS doesnt pick it up. IF I reboot the guest OS, then the guest OS picks it up(the guest OS is Win2K3 R2). If I use the CD, then need to eject it to insert another one, the same thing happens, its as though the CD drive is empty. This is a PITA for software which requires multiple disks.

Anyone have a fix to this?
