Hi All,

I have worked with CCR etc for a while but have become stumped with this issue.

New Server 2012 R2 x64 all patched and up to date.
Latest CCR downloaded from Avaya.
Doesn't matter what I do it cannot connect to the IPO. Have verified settings with System Status which works fine.
Have cleared event logs, just left it alone, restarted services etc but no joy!
Has anyone else had problems with CCR on Server 2012?

Thanks in advance!!

[tongue]I did not even think of starting with it, as usual with IP Office Call Centre solutions it sucks, all of them, from day 1 untill today. Avoid them if possible or re delegate the install/maintenance and if that all is not possible, switch job immediate.

I am not sure if CCR is supported on server 2012 to be honest.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Server Operating System: Operating System Microsoft® Windows 2008 R2 SP1 64 bit Standard Edition or Windows 2012 R2 64 bit Standard Edition.

CCR and IPOCC are totally different.
And to be honest, CCR is a joy to work with compared to IPOCC.

I have had a look and the last time server 2013 is mentioned is March 2013 where it says no support for CCR yet.

CCR is not supported on Server 2012.
Whether it can be tweaked to work - thats another issue altogether.
But then if something didn't work quite right - avaya wouldn't be able/want to support it since they haven't given it the big green tick.

Ok so I have installed it on Server 2008 R2 and now have another round of issues!

GREAT! Lol

Opening CCRWebClient and it tells me that no services can be found!
Cleared event logs and restarted all services but no cigar :(

Did you disable UAC before installing? Install as Admin? Did you check the actual windows services to see if they are there?

To be fair I know people slag off CCR but generally if you RTM and follow what it states we "Normally" don't have any issues. The only issues we have faced is when the manual hasn't been followed and swift de/re install solves most problems. IPOCC on the other hand is a whole new box of tricks which makes CCR look like a walk in the park!!!

If the CCR services aren't showing when you log in as administrator, the first thing to try is to open services.msc and set all of the CCR services to delayed start. Then reboot the server.

Used to see this a lot when CCR would start before the SQL services. Delaying gives SQl time to get going and generally that solved it for me.

Hiya, services are there and all started.
UAC isn't enabled on the server (we always switch UAC off as standard)
We have installed CCR many time and have never seen this problem before and we are familiar with the installation process, I shall have to do some more investigation and I will report back.
The SQL instance is on a separate server to the CCR so the starting would not be an issue.

I'm guessing you tested rebooting the server? Change the password for the CCR service account in security settings (Manager) and try again.

Windows firewall? Networking/routing issue? I probably should have read thru the entire thread to see if this is more application related but figured I'd share the obvious.

Seen this a few times before. Had it last weekend on a 8.1>9.0 upgrade.

Generally a few service restarts/event log clears/IIS Resets brings it back.

Like above, make sure all steps have been taken and the user you are installing as is a local admin at minimum. .net and such all done before installing and check that it is enabled for IIS. I have seen .net 4 go disabled and cause all sorts of wierd things!!!

Ok, new news.

So, removed CCR from the server, removed any left over folder in program files, deleted database and started from scratch.

No joy, same issue...

Event log shows:

The Data Analyzer Service experienced communication failure with the IP Office. 192.168.x.x

and:

The description for Event ID 0 from source Avaya IPOCCR Realtime Calculation Service cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Init Cache did not detect any data to load from the database, processing tasks will not be started. Please ensure availability of CCR Agents and CCR Agent Groups on the switch

the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

Not sure where to go from here as the Status Monitor works perfectly using the same account details as the CCR uses.

Did you download the latest version?
There was a version that does not work and Avaya release a new one lately.
