I am looking at having to recert my CCNA next Aug. I am thinking of going for my CCNP instead, While my job being a Network Admin Im a little rusty and will have to brush up but my question is which test should I pursue first if I go CCNP route: BSCI,BCMSN,BCRAN ,or CIT

thanks

I'm halfway thru CCNP right now - BCMSN first, BSCI second (failed 2 times, passed the third). Wrapping up BCRAN right now. CIT comes last.

I'd definitely recommend the path you listed, as the BSCI is certainly the most difficult test (tho I'm not sure it's the most difficult content). You mentioned you're CCNA and an admin - if you know routing and switching well enough - go for the composite to save money.

Good luck!

Good day!

Don't be a wimp, buck up and do CCNP. BCRAN was the hardest for me.

Hi,

Laugh, I did the same as you, my CCNA ran out in July so I thought I would go for the CCNP, I though, hey the CIT book looks the smallest ( as time was running out ). Big Mistake, the exam has questions in from the other 3 books!!!, I struggled but passed in the end. Doing the CCNP in order of the exams I think is the best advise.
