CCM - Out of office

We currently are looking to implement a CCM in a new office, but there current PABX has a Out of office feature.

This feature is watching the building access system, and reports to the reception who is in the building. This way she is always aware of who is in the building and who is not, and also vacations can be booked in here and the reception can even see when this person comes back.

Now I have been searching for a long time and haven't found anything yet, but does anyone know a good product that can do this?

or if not, is does anyone know a work arround where a user could leave for example a message at the AttendantConsole where they can say when they are back in the office, or that they will be back in 1 hour?

Hmm. Good one. I'd be curious what system is currently interfacing like this. I've certainly never seen anything like this...
