catos boots into rommon

I've read through the posts about resolving boot problems, as well as numerous cisco docs, but my 2948 keeps booting to rommon. What am I doing wrong here? As usual, any help will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance vipergg ;-)

Change config register to 0x102 . Then issue clear boot system all. Then add "set boot system flash bootflash:cat4000.5-5-21.bin .

After 2nd look used 0xf for the config register.

At the rommon prompt try issueing "boot bootflash:cat4000.5-5-21.bin and see if it will boot , change those other parameters after it boots all the way up. Do not issue a reset .

It looks like it is tryiung to load the image off the network indicating the register is still not right . Set the config register to 0x2102 and reset and see what happens . Here is some more info you can try if that fails.
