Is it possible to have a master Categories list for new contacts in Outlook XP?

You can have a public folder with contacts. I'm missing the question... Can you describe a little more the functionality you need. Dan

You can associate contacts with a category (ie. Business, Friend, Personal). However, I want to be able to control the catergories people choose from so that everyone gets asscociated to one of the same 10 catergories.

There is a master list in Outlook 2000. Are you saying this is gone in Outlook XP? Dan

no, the list is there, but can i control that master list and make additions that are business related that will show up on all systems?
