We have recently added a new building and are using wireless antenna for data transmit ion between the two buildings. In the primary building all the servers and main switch are located together with 5 Cisco 3524xl's and one 3550-12 which is connected between all the servers and the 1st 3524 switch in the stack by fiber. I will call the 3550-12 the primary switch. So here is how it goes the wireless connection connects to the primary and from the primary over the antenna’s with dumb gateways and into the new 3550-24 switches, I can ping the switches from the old building but I cannot do much else, I cannot see the servers or map any drives I cannot get e-mail and when I goto the internet and this is weird I can only get to microsoft websites. I should also mention that I am getting dhcp?
Is it a matter of vlan config?
Could it be that is a layer communication problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
