Case when in a procedur is stopping tables from showing in design view

Hello

We have a query which does not have Case When within the sql code. When we want to design view on this query we are shown all of the tables etc with the criteria in the pane window.

However, if a query/procedure has a 'case when' statement within it, for some reason the design view and pane will not show any of the tables. I am sure we have had this in the past and it was to do with copying a dll file to a location... Can anyone advise?

we are running Access XP and running Office 2003 otherwise.

'Case When' is not part of Jet SQL, as far as I know. You may get a fuller answer if you post an example.
 
Hi

its an access adp file over a SQL database.

the error code which shows is as follows once we click away from the SQL pane:

this design does not graphically support the case sql construct the sql pane is out of synch with the other panes

does this help?
