Cascading cisco 2950's

We have 5 2950's and 9 3com superstack II 3c16611.

First what should be the config on the ports I am using to Cascade the 2950's together.
A crossover cable
switchport mode trunk?
and set the port to spanning tree portfast full duplex 100?


And the other question is what config per port should be used to connect a 3com hub per a port on the 2950.

Hook the Cisco's together with x-over cables, 100/full.

Do NOT enable portfast

I always set up an etherchannel (2 ports) between switches.

And lastly, if the IOS load is too dissimilar, the switches will have problems comunicating
