We are changing telco carriers on our 3rd PRI and was wondeirng what needs to be done in system, if anything the day of conversion? Do I need a technician on site, not really sure what needs to be done. I have a bride to dial into to, but not sure if a tech needed to be on site.

Thanks so much!!

if that pri is a stand alone, with it's own dch, and the interface type/ trunk type etc is the same.. someone needs to do the physical plug move.. the demark will be in ahead of time, and seeing that will determine is the same cable will reach and have the right demark.. otherwise if the office type or trunk type codeing etc change then the trunks, route and d have to come out and go back in.. not a hard job, takes about half an hour if the tech has done it before..

Just to add to johns, if that PRI is is running on the 1st & 2nd's D-channel then you will need a D-channel for this PRI.

which could require another card or daughter board.. or at least reroute of the dch cable and a download of the msdl which stops calls on other pri;s on that msdl... good catch hawks
