TEST RESULTS

01A 12V-PWR 701 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 695 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 696 ABORT 2113
01A CARD-MEM 697 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 698 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 699 FAIL 107

What can I do to resolving ?

I do not have another backup, and I'm afraid that I will lose all configuration after restart.

Replacing the flash card is the easiest solution. It can be removed from the system as long as the 'in use' light is not lit.

There are different size flash cards used. You want one that matches what's currently installed. On the card it should say 1 MB, 4 MB, 8 MB, or 16 MB. There is also a J number and a List number.

Kevin, thanks for the quick response, but I do not have another card to replace. My card is 4MB
Do you think that the command "format card-mem translation" can solve the problem, and what are the risks of such operation ?

That command is only available using the 'craft' login. I have plenty of them spare. I just have to find them. I'll be in the office next Tuesday t look for them.

Kevin

keep in mind it may not be the flash card but the card reader itself

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

I have 'craft' rights and can do the format command but I don't know what is risk.
If I will format but save translation didn't success, I will lose all data. Now is a little chance that after restart some data will restored. Am I right ?

I would buy a spare flash card first and try that. The only downside is that you will now have a spare flash card. If it's the reader, you may want to start writing stuff down before you go any further.

The other option, if you can't save your translation on the new card is to contact an AVAYA Business Partner who has "ProVision", they will be able to dial in to your switch (or come onsite and connect localy), and take a copy of your entire translations, so they could be restored to another switch, or a replacement processor.

4 mb cards would be for backup of tn750 integrated announcements
The proper format command would be
Command: format card-mem announcements

Command: status card
Command: list config software

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

Thanks all for help
I have tested card on other switch and result is the same
01A 12V-PWR 701 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 695 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 696 ABORT 2113
01A CARD-MEM 697 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 698 PASS
01A CARD-MEM 699 FAIL 107

It follows that the problem is on the side of the card and I should to buy it :(

Do you know if this is the type of PCMCIA card and can be read on a laptop with PCMCIA port, or it is other standard and needs the dedicated reader ?

The flash card uses custom Avaya formatting. Just order a replacement from Metroline.
