Capturing DOS box text programatically?

Afternoon, (Here at least)

Any one know if there is a way to capture/retrieve information displayed in a command prompt window? Other than manually marking text, via keyboard or mouse. I am hoping it can be done programatically via VBScript/JScript/Perl or some such.

Reason I am asking is one of the guys in our NetWare section is having to manually get the data from his rconsole session and paste it into notepad as,(don't ask me about netware) what he is doing on the netware box will not pipe the data to a text file. hence the long winded marking of text in the dos box and copying to notepad.

The Scriptit utility can do it but it is not the most reliable product. Put the old Win3.1 Recorder in the same boat.

Any suggestions?

Maybe there is a command line option(NetWare utility) that already does what you want.

What is the information you are getting from the Rconsole session.
