Can a MICS 7 XC software that has 2 expansion cartridges be loaded with either 12 trunk modules or 12 station modules or a mixture of both (12 in total)
thanks

Sorry but that is incorrect. Trunk modules can only go on the 1st 6 port expansion card in slot 2. Station modules can go on either one.

So if you had the maximum extensions the configuration would be:
2 trunk cards (LS/DS or DTI)
32 exts in the core
12 stn mods
= 224 extensions and perhaps 2 T1s

If you were to max out the trunk side the configuration would be:
2 trunk cards in the core (LS/DS or DTI)
6 trunk mods (one with a third DTI card in it)
= 3 T-1s (or PRIs), 60 analog trunk lines and 32 extensions

In theory you could have a max of 80 trunks and 128 stations. Iam more concerned about the max amout of trunks no DTI trunks. This a packaged office.
Thanks for the replys.

What do you mean by packaged office?

Thats the practical limit as well - assuming you dont use anything else of the MICS

8 + 6(12) = 80 analog trunk lines
32 + 6(16) = 128 digital staions

A Packaged Office is where a small business person can rent office space and have there phone answered and secretarial work done. There might be 50 or more different individual offices using a common reception.
Thanks for all the replys
