Hi.
I have a lab with a Sonicwall (subnet 192.168.250.0) who is use for Dhcp sever. One port is connected to a router (3550 cisco). we have some server on subnet 192.168.10.0. Everything is going ok with computer running Windows. I have acces to all my servers, internet, and all my other subnet. The problem i have is we use to ghost our computer from these lab and all our image are on the 192.168.10.0 subnet. When i boot in dos mode, the Sonicwall give me a good Ip adress but i cannot do net use h: \\serveur\ghost like i use to do. Someone know what i have to do to make it work ??? I don't use the wan port.

Sounds like a DNS issue or a problem resolving names.

Try net use h: \\192.168.X.X\ghost /y

Hi
I tried this also. Same problem.

what IP address do you get when you are in dos mode? Do you have the same subnet as the ghost server?

No, in the lab it's 192.168.250.x subnet and my server is in the 192.168.10.x subnet. In dos(with 192.168.250.x, I can ping server on the 192.168.10.x subnet but i cannot map any drive on the ghost server. It sounds like some protocol is not working in dos mode across the Sonicwall.

Why don't you the two on the same subnet and then run ghost?

Put your ghost client on the same "physical" network as your ghost server so you don't have to go through the sonicwall.
