Can't Transfer Calls After Changing Phone Types

I changed a phone from a 7403 to a 7406D and now the user can't transfer. I had her try to transfer me and it puts me on hold and then rings the destination number once and only once.....and I stay on hold until she picks me back up.... Any ideas?

You changed the type phone for that extension also from 7403 to 7406D? You did transfer xxxx transfer?
