I have recentlly installed Win 2000 Server...on the server I have two nics. one has the isp gateway and the other has on the ip (e.g. 192.1968.0.1) and the mask 255.255.255.0 and the dns that it-s the same as on the 1st nick.
The problem is that I can't surf the net on the stations but I can ping from and to the server and I can surf the net on the server.
Where is the problem?

Need heeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!

Are the client machines set with a default gateway of 192.168.0.1?

Can you ping a website address from the client machines either by ip, or name?

You could try running the Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) setup, which will probably simplify this...

What exactly do you mean? It sounds like you are using peer-peer networking (i.e. a workgroup), in which case each computer only needs a login name & password. However, if you are using a domain then you will need to add computer accounts to active directory as well...

if your clients are w98/ME then they do not need to have a computer account in the domain. Just add the users and it will be fine.
If the client in NT or above, then the computer must have an account in the domain as well as the user.
When you add the computer to the domain for the first time(set it up to log onto the domain, a PC account will be setup up for you) also, yo can manually add a computer account if you desire. At any rate, the computer will need an account in the domain in order to authenticate (iIF it is NT or higher--NT, W2K, XP)
