Cant Sent to Internal Groups

When anyone on my domain tries to send to an internal group they get a bounced back message.

The message doesnt list everyone in the Internal Group just a few. What could be causing this?

server 2000 sp4, Exchange 2000 ent sp3

Are you trying to send an email to a security group or a global distribution group?
