What is your SMTP server?

Does your ISP require authentication for outbound mail?

Do you use PcCillin?

the error reads as follows....Message couldnot be sent because one of the recipient was rejected by server . Protocol smtp, sever response 5505.7.1 relaying denied..port 25 secure (ssl) no server error 550. error number ox800ccc79 thats it??????

sounds like you turned on SSL and it's not required


Are you connecting to ISP email or Company Email.

most ISP's do not use SSL

and some companies do.

Goto Tools > accounts > Mail tab > select the account in question > properties > Advanced TAB

check if SSL "this server requires secure connection" is it checked or not?

if it's checked uncheck it .. close outlook, reopen it and try again.
