I have a new DC that I am trying to get set up like my old one. When I go into AD on server1, I see the exchange 2003 tabs in the user profiles. When I create a new account with that server, I also get the option of creating a mailbox at the same time. On server2 I just get the basic AD with no exchange info.

I have the MSDN exchange 2003 CD that I am trying to use to get server2 up and running.

Do I need to load the entire exchange load onto server2 or are there just a few pieces that I need to load?

The exchange server itself is server3.

Thanks,
KS

Okay,

I think I figured it out. I just didn't want to load items I didn't need or most importantly, cause problems.

You have three choices, typical, minimal, cutom. I selected custom and then was able to only install the system manager tools.

Hopefully this takes care of it, who knows, I might be back.
