Bit of a strange one this.
My Bosses PC running XP Pro with all the latest service packs can't print certain e-mails from Outlook saying that there is no print preview support for HTML files and a script error pops up. I also checked internet explorer and you can't print from that either as it generates a script error saying print preview unavailable. I checked another XP PC and this has the same problem.
Checked around the net but no luck and mskb tells me to check the EPS on the printer but it doesn't appear to use EPS. All use to work fine until recently has anyone else had a similar problem or know how to repair it ?

Liam

Have you tried updating the IE6 to IE6 SP1 on windows update ?

I know that has fixed that sort of problem for me on a few occasions.

Yes they both have all the latest updates except windows update has now stopped working on my bosses machine. It will scan and tell me that I need to update a nvidia device driver and a jet database and something else to do with usb2 and when I select the update bit the download box just sits there doing nothing.

Problem Description:
After accepting the EULA, the Windows Update - Web Page
Dialog window appears but the download never starts.
Nothing "moves" on the download progress bar, no matter
how long you leave the connection open.

Resolutions:
Please re-register the following files:
regsvr32 msscript.ocx
regsvr32 dispex.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 scrrun.dll

1. Click "Start," and then click "Run."
2. Type regsvr32 msscript.ocx in the "Open" box and
click "OK."
3. Repeat for dispex.dll,vbscript.dll, and scrrun.dll.

Next, make sure file (open) type .JS is properly
associated:
1. In Control Panel, click "Folder Options," and then
click "File Types."
2. Locate the .JS extension and click "Advanced."
3. Make sure the "Application to perform action" field
contains: C:\WINDOWS\System32\WScript.exe "%1" %* This is
for a Windows XP computer.

Thanks for that but it still doesn't work. Looks like I might have to do a full system restore unless I can find the cause of the problem.
