Probably something really simple here.
i cant seem to cut and paste pictures into my emails in MS Outlook 2000.
it doesnt even give me the paste option, even though the picture is definately on my clipboard.

any ideas?

Is this all graphics? Have you tried images from different sources and file types?

Its preferable to attach images and graphics to e-mails, is this not an option for you?

Probably a real dumb question, but I have to ask ...

Have you set your email format to HTML. Can't have pictures in plain text ;o)

Other than that, the graphic may be too large, pixelwise, to fit.

nay, its HTML.
and i need the pics embedded cos its a walkthrough email for how to use an application... mainly done using screen prints then CTRL+C and CTRL+V... what file type does that produce?

cut and paste should work... but you can use this method too.. little more tedious but a fix for now. Right click and save the image to desktop.
In your mail Insert ---> Picture.. find the picture on the desktop and it will put it in the actual document
