I'm not sure if this is an IIS problem, but we are running IIS4 on our Intranet Server (on a Windows NT server) and this has been a sudden problem for us. Whenever I try to update our intranet and save either an html or asp file, I sometimes get a Access Denied message. I've tried saving the file as something else and then deleting the original file in order to rename the saved one to its proper file name, but I'm unable to delete it off the server as well. It's like the file gets locked up because somebody has it open in their browser. This has never happened before and I used to update this site while users were on the intranet. Not sure if something got changed inadvertently or not. Even when I get people off the Intranet and try to make the change, I can't. I have to wait an hour or more for the file to unlock itself, then I can make the change. Is this an IIS problem or something else?
