Hi Guys, I have a bit of an odd problem here. I've got 4 servers running in a farm and they all work great except for my fourth server. Basically I have thin clients connecting to it as a desktop session but I have a few users that need to use apps that are on the other servers. So I tell them to just go into the web access site, log in that way, and then click on the app they need. Keep in mind these only pertains to the oddball apps that aren't installed on all servers, They get Office and all that from a start menu redirection that I've set up. In either case, so they are on the desktop, go to the web site, click on an app..I see the connecting come up, nothing happens..grrr HOWEVER, it does work when logged in as admin, what the heck could have changed?

They are regular users...nothing special, this server was even ghosted from images of my previous three, it worked fine for about 2 months and this just started happenning. I have no clue what to do, maybe re-install ICA client?

Well I tried re-installing the web client but it did not solve the issue. Any ideas?

Someone please help, what could be causing the citrix web client to time out? It's like it can't find the server when a regular user is logged in, but this works for Admins...getting frustrated!!!

Hi,

Have you increased the security writes on the MSLicensing key within Local Machine, might be worth giving Domain Users Full Control to that key! Remember to use RegEdt32.Exe not RegEdit.exe.

Becareful in the registry it's your own fault if you crash your server - legal disclaimer!

Cheers,
Carl.

I actually did something to fix this. I went into the profile directory and noticed two profiles that were still there, tried deleting them..no go, file in use. Rebooted Server, still no go, file in use. Ended up booting from CD into WinPE, mounted the ntfs drive, and tried "del "userprofile"" file not found...I was looking right at it. Then rmdir "userprofile" still no go. Ended up doing a deltree "userprofile" and it got rid of those hung directories. Rebooted into the server and it started working...WIERD!!!!
